When we first met Chona, we knew Kids Zone was going to be a great place for our son. Previously, he was at a larger... center and was really struggling. We knew he needed a change and are so happy we found Kids Zone. When he started, Chona and Adrian made an incredible effort to get to know him, work with us as parents, make him feel comfortable, and support him. He went from struggling to thriving. At Kids Zone, they treat the children as if they are their own. The love and attention the children recieve surpasses all expectations. By getting to know our son, they were able to provide him with individualized instruction to tailor to his needs and help him regain confidence and trust. Chona and Adrian do an amazing job at making him feel important, special, and part of a community. They see the children as individual people and genuinely love each and every one. Every day our son comes home in a positive mood. Chona posts pictures to a private parent group so we always can see what they do during the day. The activities and opportunities they provide for the children are amazing! Every day the kids are exposed to early literacy, mathematical concepts, free play, songs, calendar, outside play, walks, and so much more. In the last 8 months at Kids Zone, our son has learned more than he did in the previous two years at a larger center. Not only has Chona taught him all the academic skills he will need going into Kindergarten this September, he has also learned important social skills and life skills. The experiences the kids engage in go above and beyond. At Kids Zone, the kids are able to plant, garden, harvest, help with preparing food at a developmentally appropriate level, bake, engage in crafts, science experiments, celebrate various occasions, and so much more. Knowing he is in a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment while we are at work puts us at ease. We know he is in good hands and is not missing out on any experiences because Chona provides a well-rounded program that will exceed any center. We wish we had found Kids Zone years ago and love it there so much our daughter will also be going there until she is in Kindergarten!read more

I can't say enough about Kids Zone, my daughter has been going here for a year now and gets so excited to see her... friends, Mama Chona and Papa Adrian everyday. They are the most loving, kind hearted people and treat each kid like their own. I have to say I went through all the nerves and anxiety leaving my daughter in someone else's care for the first time, but they made the transition so easy. The kids get outside everyday, and do the most amazing activities and don't even get me started on the food, all I have to say is I should probably up my food game! With years of teaching experience, Chona makes learning fun for all of these kids. I love seeing my daughter thrive going there everyday! I have never second guessed her safety, I know she's in good hands and quite honestly it will be a sad day when we have to move on to other places, there's no place like Kids Zone!read more

Where do I start? The moment I met Chona I knew my baby would be so well taken care of! She was so kind and welcoming... and caring during our meeting, she let me cry, made me feel so comfortable about leaving my baby. My biggest fear was missing out on a spot!A year and 3 mos later, my daughter is absolutely THRIVING!! And LOVES mama Chona and Papa Adrian. The food is incredible and so well presented, the crafts make my heart melt, the teaching and lessons are amazing. Chona teaches with such kindness, patience and makes it so fun. I absolutely without a doubt feel my daughter is learning ahead of the curve due to this environment. Soooo much outdoor play, so many activities.I’ve seen how Chona & Adrian Care for these kids, without a doubt they treat them as their own and truly love each one. I know with 100% certainty every day that my girl is safe and being so well care for.Their safety rules and attention to detail in all aspects make me feel so at ease. Chona has helped us so much grow our baby into a thriving toddler. Kids Zone Daycare is the BEST THING that has happened to my daughter. Ms. Chona is the most professional, loving, and... devoted teacher I have ever met. She and her lovely family makes my daughter's everyday so much fun! Kids Zone throws AMAZING holiday parties including birthday parties like there is no other. The kids love them!!! Ms. Chona really knows how to teach academics. With her years of teaching experiences she examines each kid's development and she helps them reach their limits. They are never bored. Always learning new things. Her daycare is super clean and spacious with tons of toys (She still keeps buying new toys for the kids!) She teaches kids how to grow veges and let them harvest and eat at the end! Lots of heartfull outdoor play. My daughter loves her food. Organic and so healthy with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Never hungry. I don't know what I would do without Ms. Chona. She helps me raise my daughter. We are so lucky to have found Kids Zone. I am 100％ confident that the Kids Zone Daycare is the best daycare in Calgary! Thank you Chona, Adrian, and all of your amazing children. We love Kids Zone!!!read more

My daughter Hannah has been with the kids zone family for two years now. Momma Chona and Papa Adrian are such generous... people and treat my daughter like family. The stories and crafts that come home make my heart full. I truly appreciate the work you put in to make sure this next group of pre schoolers are ready for kindergarten and beyond. We’ve had our son at KidsZone for just over a year, and we’re so happy to have found such a caring and supportive... environment for him. Chona and Adrian treat the kids as if they are part of their family and that care is reflected in everything they do - from the healthy, home cooked food to their thoughtful crafts and activities, and the exceptional space they’ve created in their house for the kids to learn, explore and grow. There are a lot of options out there for childcare, but in our opinion you can’t do better than KidsZone and we are so thrilled to be a part of this family!read more

We couldn’t be happier with Kids Zone. The home has been setup with safety in mind which is always most important.... First aid certificates, police checks, business licenses and more are clearly displayed at the entry way and it’s obvious that they take pride in offering a safe environment. There are even CCTV cameras throughout the home and in the play areas. Everything is always kept very clean and they’ve taken significant safety precautions with COVID-19.The children have daily activities and enjoy the outdoors when the weather permits. We sometimes see the dayhome group walking along the neighborhood pathways exploring the nearby nature and wetlands. The inside of the home is spacious, and full of exciting toys and activity areas. They seem to always be learning something new and staying physically active.We’ve also noticed that our child has bonded closely with the other kids and is excited to see them every morning. Adrian and Chona have created a very positive environment for everyone, almost like family.The food is healthy and freshly cooked. We see photos of the meals and children eating, and it’s a running joke how our picky kid eats everything at the dayhome!We’ve had a great experience and we’re very grateful for Adrian and Chona’s care and hardwork. We used Kids Zone Daycare for 10 days for our 10 month old. Chona and her family were absolutely wonderful!! Chona... always greeted our daughter with huge smiles and enthusiasm. Loved being able to see daily photos of the littles having fun. Lots of delicious food, outdoor play and learning. I would highly recommend Kids Zone!!read more

We started at Kids Zone in November 2017 and we have had an amazing experience so far! My son and daughter love Chona... and her family!! Chona loves what she does, and you can see it in her home and in the care she provides to the kids.She provides the kids healthy meals and snacks, lots of educational opportunities, crafts, and outdoor play. She posts pics of all the food she provides as well as pictures and videos of the kids at play. My son can be picky with food sometimes, but he seems to eat all the food there! My daughter was extremely clingy to me and Chona helped put my mind at ease leaving her there. I appreciate her honesty in that my daughter had a rough first couple of days, but Chona made sure to update me frequently during that time so I wouldn't stress out about it while at work. Chona is as accomodating to our needs as she can be. She has helped me to potty train my daughter at 18 months with success! Thank you Chona for all you do! I highly recommend this dayhome!read more

Where do I even start! We have had an amazing experience at Kidzone. I couldn’t be happier with the care my children... have received here. Chona and her family go above and beyond to make sure the kids are learning, happy, loved and treated as part of their family. She makes the kids feel welcome every day and they were happy to go there. My son, who is very attached to me, would tell me “go mama” and push me out the door! The parties she throws for their birthdays and for holidays and special occasions are so fun and makes them feel special and loved! The kids have healthy, fresh food and she was willing to accommodate my families alternative diet. I was especially impressed by the educational experience she provides- even the little ones get a chance to participate in circle time, crafts, etc. I also really appreciate the videos and picture updates of what the kids are doing/eating throughout the day. Thank you Chona, Adrian, Welch, John and Angel for loving my kids and being their home and away from home!!read more

From the moment she came to you in April 2017, she... learned lots of new and good things; and it's wonderful for us as parents to see her increase her knowledge and skills. My son has been seeing Chona at Kids Zone for a few months now and she is simply amazing!!! He has been very clingy to... me and doesnt go to many people but he doesn't even blink when he see's Chona! She is so friendly and happy and the children pick up on it! She has always from day 1 made me feel like my son is 100% safe and having fun and well cared for. She sends me photos and videos of him all day long which is amazing since being away from them is hard sometimes!! He eats great there with her and she does so much with all the kids!! Crafts, walks, the park, stories, play time. I will be using Chona and Kids Zone forever!! <3 She is my son's other "mama" :)read more
